Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 September 2026 · Applies to Dynamic Notch 2.1
1. Licence
Buying Dynamic Notch grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software on your own Macs. The licence key is for your personal use: it may not be shared, resold or published.
2. How many Macs
One licence can be activated on two Macs. Each activation registers an anonymous instance identifier. If you replace a machine and run out of activations, write to us and we will release the old one — that is not a reason to buy a second licence.
3. Offline use
The first activation needs an internet connection: a licence that has never been seen cannot be verified. After that the app re-checks quietly in the background and, if the server cannot be reached, keeps working for seven days and tries again. Only an explicit rejection locks the app.
4. Merchant of Record
Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which is the Merchant of Record for every purchase. They handle payment, invoicing, tax and refunds, and their terms apply to the transaction itself.
5. What you may not do
Dynamic Notch — its code, design and interface — is protected by copyright. You may not decompile, disassemble or derive works from it, nor distribute a modified copy.
6. Warranty
The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be free of defects, nor that it will keep working unchanged on future versions of macOS. The current requirement is macOS 26.4 or later; check yours before buying.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer of Dynamic Notch is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the software.
